How to join Fractured Skies

The Fractured Skies server IP is play.fractured-skies.world for Java Edition 1.21 and newer. Bedrock Edition uses the same address with port 19132. Joining the prison is free.

Java PC, Mac & Linux

To join Fractured Skies on Java Edition 1.21 and newer, open Minecraft, choose Multiplayer, then Add Server, and enter play.fractured-skies.world as the server address. Press Done and double-click the server to join.

    Copy the server address

    Click the button below. It works for Java Edition 1.21 and newer.

    Open Multiplayer

    Launch Minecraft, choose Multiplayer, then Add Server.

    Paste and join

    Paste the address into Server Address, press Done, and double-click Fractured Skies.

Bedrock Windows, iOS & Android

To join Fractured Skies on Bedrock Edition (Windows, iOS or Android), open Minecraft, press Play, go to the Servers tab and choose Add Server. Enter any name, the address play.fractured-skies.world and port 19132, then save and tap the server. Xbox, PlayStation and Switch only list featured servers, so console players join through a friend who is already online.

  1. Open Minecraft and press Play.
  2. Go to the Servers tab and scroll to Add Server.
  3. Enter any name, the address play.fractured-skies.world and port 19132.
  4. Save, then tap the server to join.

Xbox, PlayStation & Switch

Consoles can only open featured servers from the Servers tab, so custom servers need a workaround. The most reliable option is to add a friend who is already online and join through the Friends tab, or follow the console guide pinned in our Discord.

Can't connect?

  • "Outdated client" or "Incompatible"

    Switch to a supported version: Java 1.21 and newer. Since 2026 Mojang numbers Java releases by year (26.1, 26.2 …), and those count as newer. In the launcher, open Installations → New → pick the version.

  • "Can't resolve hostname"

    Check the address for typos. Copy it with the button instead of typing it.

  • "Connection timed out"

    The server may be restarting. Check the status dot above or announcements in Discord, then try again in a minute.

  • Bedrock: "Unable to connect to world"

    Check the address and that the port is 19132. School and work networks often block game servers, so try another connection.

  • Bedrock: "Outdated server"

    Bedrock updates reach the server a little after they reach your device. If you updated today, Discord announces when the server accepts the new version.

  • "You are banned"

    Read the reason on the disconnect screen and follow the appeal steps on the Support page.

    Mine, sell, rank up from A to Z, then prestige.

  • Mods you can run

    Sodium, Iris and OptiFine are fine. X-ray and automation get you banned.

  • Vote rewards

    Prison cash and vote tokens for every vote, once a day per site.
