Crates

Keys come from events, bosses and the vote shop. Seasonal crates rotate, then close.

How to join

The crates stand at spawn. What is in each one is written on it, and every key you hold was earned somewhere on the server.

Where keys come from

  • Voting, which pays vote tokens every 24 hours per listing site, spent in /voteshop.
  • Events, including the space mine and every KOTH.
  • Bosses, which drop keys along with the rest of the loot.
  • Playtime and milestones, such as reaching a new letter or a new prestige.

What you will not find is a key in the store. Crate keys, loot boxes and anything else with a random reward are the first thing the store policy rules out, and the catalog’s own rules ban them. Everything in a crate was earned by playing, by whoever opened it.

What is in them

Crates pay out tokens, custom enchant levels, multipliers, tags, cosmetics and nukes. Each crate’s contents are listed on the crate itself before you spend a key, so you know what the pool is rather than guessing at it.

Nothing in any crate moves your mine letter or your prestige. Those two numbers only move when you mine.

Seasonal crates

A seasonal crate is open for one season and then closes. It carries that season’s cosmetics: tags, trails and effects built for whatever is running at the time, and they do not come back in the next one. The key to a seasonal crate is earned during that season, from that season’s events.

A season here is a window of themed content, not a reset. Nothing wipes at the end of one: your rank, prestige, balance, gear and every cosmetic you earned stay exactly where they are. What stays forever.
