Every mine from A to Z is safe. One warp is not, and you have to walk into it on purpose.
/warp pvp
/warp pvp is the only place on the server where players can hurt each other. There is no PvP in the mines, no PvP at spawn, and nothing that drags you into a fight you did not choose. What you carry in is what you can lose, so most players keep a fighting set and leave the rest in a vault.
This is where weapon enchants earn their tokens. Mining enchants do nothing here.
The PvP mine
Inside the warp there is a mine, and it does not work like the others. It never refills on a timer. It sits empty until somebody uses an activator on it, and from the moment it lights up it stays open until the last block in it is gone.
That changes what a mine is. An ordinary mine is a queue; this one is a race, held in the only place where the other people in it can stop you. Whoever activates it decides when the fight starts, and everyone at the warp finds out at the same moment.
Activators are earned: they come out of crates, off bosses and from events.
KOTH
A King of the Hill runs at a capture point: stand on it, hold it for the timer, and it pays out to whoever is on it when the clock runs down. One player can win it. A gang holding the point together is much harder to move, which is the most common way it ends.
KOTH pays tokens, crate keys and tags, and the tags are the part people keep. Times are announced in game and in Discord before each one, so nobody has to sit at the point waiting.
The rules still apply here
PvP is not an exception to the rules. Slurs, harassment, scamming and client mods that fight for you are punished at the warp exactly as they are anywhere else. Losing gear is part of it; being abused about it is not.
