You arrive in Mine A with a stone pickaxe and no money. Mine A is cobblestone and coal: slow, cheap, and the only thing you can reach. Sell what you break, run /rankup, and the gate to Mine B opens.
How ranking up works
- Break blocks in the highest mine your rank allows.
- Sell the haul with
/sell all, or list the good stuff on the auction house for more. - Run
/rankup. If you can afford the next letter, you move up immediately. - Repeat in a better mine with better blocks.
Each letter costs more than the last, and each mine pays more per block than the last. Around Mine K the jump stops feeling like a grind and starts feeling like a decision: rank up now, or stay one mine lower and bank cash for something else.
What blocks pay
Every block you break pays twice. Prison cash goes to your balance and buys the next letter. Tokens go to your token count and buy everything that makes the next letter faster: custom enchants for your pickaxe, multipliers, tags and nukes.
Mine refills
Every mine refills on a timer. A full refill drops fresh blocks across the whole floor, so there is no advantage to logging in first and no way to strip a mine so that the next player finds bedrock. The timer is visible on the mine sign and in /mines.
The one mine that works differently is the PvP mine at /warp pvp, which has no timer at all: it opens when somebody uses an activator on it and stays open until it is mined out.
Nukes
A nuke breaks an entire mine in one go: every block on the floor at once, straight into your inventory, instead of a swing at a time. It is the fastest money on the server for about ten seconds, and then the mine is empty until its timer comes round.
Nukes are earned. They come out of the token shop, out of crates and off events, and there is no package that sells one.
What you cannot buy
Rank letters are not for sale. There is no store package that moves you from A to Z, no cash package, no token package, and no pickaxe or enchant for sale that mines faster than the one you built yourself. The letters only move when you mine. The store policy lists everything the store does sell.
Your own mine
A plot mine is a private mine on your own plot, with plot miners working it for you. It runs alongside the ladder and pays into the same balance, but it never moves a letter.
After Z
Z is where prestige starts: your rank goes back to A and you keep a permanent sell bonus for every run after, up to prestige 100. Players who would rather climb together start a gang, which levels up from every block its members break.
